This studio focused on the design and prototyping of a decorative metal screen. Designed for the large interior window of the Rapson Hall Dean’s Office, the purpose of this screen is two-fold. Primarily, it serves to enhance the experience of entering Rapson Hall by providing a compelling sculptural form, introducing the observer to the spirit of the architecture school. Secondly, the screen functions as a shelf to hold the various architectural artifacts and models that are often displayed on the ledge of the window.
